This is an acrylic painting on canvas with imitation gold leaf of a lovely lorikeet flying out of its home. It has a wrap-around canvas of 3.5cm thickness and so can be hanged unframed. Lorikeets are one of my favourite Australian birds and this painting was painted from a photograph I took at Westerfolds Park in Melbourne's north-east.
