This abstract painting of an owl is painted in acrylic on canvas. The canvas is a wrap-around canvas of 3.5cm thickness and so it can be hung on the wall without the need to frame it. In this painting I use colour lines and dots and abstract shapes in order to show a fantastical element to my painting and to heighten the wonder and emotion in the work.
