This is a painting of poppies which was based on a photograph that I took in Byron Bay, Australia of the beautiful poppies they sell at The Farm, Byron. I love how all of the colours play against each other the painting would look fantastic in an amongst some indoor pot plants as the green of the pot plants would work in delightful contrast to the pink and purples in the painting. It is acrylic on canvas, and the canvas is wrapped around the painting (3.5cm thick) so it can be hung without being framed.
